Donnley Morrison

Taylor Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday, January 25 at Ivy Centennial United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Canfield Cemetery in Ivy, Iowa.
Donneley was born March 8, 1942 near Bayard, Iowa, the daughter of Donald W. and Dorothy M. Carrick. She married Robert L. Morrison on January 1, 1961 in Des Moines, and to this union 3 children were born. Donneley enjoyed reading, gardening, and most of all attending her grandchildren’s activities. She was active in school and church functions and was a member of Ivy Centennial United Methodist Church.
Donneley is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert “Bob” Morrison; daughters, Lori Morrison of Greenfield and Lynn Ingle of Swan; son, Mike (Pam) Morrison of Norwalk; 8 grandchildren, Valerie Morrison, Rachael Ragan, Cole Ingle, Cade Ingle, Caitlin Ingle, Ashley Morrison, Lauren Morrison, and Mackenzie Morrison; her mother, Dorothy Carrick of Greenfield; siblings, Craig (Ann) Carrick of Dexter, Glenda (Doug) Handley of Shawnee, Kansas and Gaynel (Jeff) Pickens of Milwaukie, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Carrick; brother, Ronald Carrick; and nephew, Brian Mayes.
Visitation is from 4-8pm Wednesday at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, with the family present from 6-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Diabetes Foundation in loving memory of Donneley.
