Joseph W. Fousek

Joseph W. Fousek, 85, was born on February 29, 1924 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Joseph and Charlotte (Sweet) Fousek. He passed away on Thursday June 5, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Joe proudly served his country as a World War II Navy Veteran.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma; nephews, Brad (Nyla) Fousek of Altoona, and Brian (Lori) Fousek, Gary (Barb) Gioffredi and Terry Gioffredi, all of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Fousek.
The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 for a memorial visitation at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines.
