Robert Dale Wallace

Robert "Sarge" D. Wallace, 56, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at his home. The family will greet friends at 8 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2009, followed by funeral services at 9 a.m. at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
Robert served six years in the U.S. Air Force and was active in the Reserves for a number of years. He enjoyed bowling, was involved in various veteran's affairs and dearly loved parades.
Robert is survived by the mother of his children, Barb Wallace; children, Melicia (Robert) Chapman, Robert (Lori) Wallace, Jr., Shauna (John II) Baker and Ralph (Jennifer) Wallace; siblings, Mike, Randy and Debbie; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Donna Wallace and his brother Pat.
