Anna Marie McDonald

Anna Marie McDonald, age 66, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her home in Des Moines.

Anna Marie was born November 7, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa to Stanley and Wyvetta (Flynn) McDonald. She had a vibrant personality and was a people person. Anna was into decorating and fashion and she was very crafty. She was as sharp as they come! She enjoyed playing card in her free time. Anna calling was doing God’s work. She loved being active at her church and worked as an Evangelist Pastor.

She is survived by her sister, Minnie McDonald; her children, Kasina Manuel, Casino McDonald, Wynetta Robinson, Joshua McDonald (Elijah); two nieces, three nephews, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 33 godchildren, and a host of cousins.

Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Wyvetta (Flynn) McDonald; sister, Rose Taylor; brother-in-law, James Taylor; and son, Terry Manuel, Jr.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be held at New Beginnings Church at a later date.
