Robert Joseph Layton, age 61, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
Bob was born January 14, 1959 in Newton, Iowa to Robert Edward and Rita Joyce Layton. He enjoyed fishing and was a football fan.
According to Bob’s wishes, cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time. Bob was a humble man and did not want anyone to make a fuss.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Joseph Layton; grandsons, Dezmond and Kinnick; sister, Jodi Vanderhart (Mike); nephew and niece, Travis Vanderhart (Hannah) and Jesse Halstead (Kenny) and their families.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to his son Joe to be used for his grandsons’ education.

Sorry so for your loss. I remember Bob from working with him at Kemin. He was always quiet, but always had a smile when I said hello. God has another Angel. may he RIP.

I remember Bobby as a quiet and ornery but sweet, kind guy who loved to tease his sister's friends. He always called me "mouse." I am very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry and sad to hear about the passing of Bob.I have been cutting his hair over 15 years almost every 3 weeks. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. He was a great guy,I'm surely going to miss him. ????????
