David J. Nash

David J. Nash passed away at his home on September 23, 2020.

David was born July 12, 1969 in Des Moines to John J. and Carolyn Nash. He worked as a carpenter. David will be remembered as a loving and tender man who loved his children and life to its fullest. He enjoyed hunting with his dad and brother. David also loved sports, cars, fishing, watching Nascar and above all else, he loved to laugh.

David is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly; children, Krista May, Aaron and Ricky; three grandchildren; mother, Carolyn; sister, Joleen Kennedy; brother, Tom (Dianna); nieces, Krista Corey, Jessie and Rachael; nephew, Tyler; great-niece, Emerson; and a host of extended loving family and great friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Nash and his grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2020 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Private burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
