we just saw this today and my prayers and hugs to Dorothys family. It has been a long time since I have seen your family, but growing up your family was part of ours. i remember having a birthday at your house while my parents were away, eating the best butter popcorn and dancing in your basement. What a wonderful sweet lady with a smile on her face.

I am so sorry to learn of Dorothy's passing and for the loss of your mother. She was a very special ABWA sister of mine in the Des Moines Charter Chapter. I will never forget her role as the Energizer Bunny in one of our ABWA Membership Skits; complete with bunny costume, wagging tail and drum! She could have won an academy award! In the later years of our chapter, I was one of her drivers to our meetings. There were always wonderful conversations during the rides. She was so proud of her family. She was truly an elegant lady and she will never be forgotten.
