John “Jack” P. Leporte, 70 died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. A Funeral Mass will be 11AM Wednesday, January 24th at Humility of Mary Catholic Church in Beech, Iowa with burial following at Avon Cemetery in rural Des Moines.
Jack was born August 7, 1936 in Des Moines. He worked for AT&T for 30 years and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Jack is survived by his wife Donna and his brother James (Therese) Leporte all of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mollie Leporte.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 23rd from 6-8pm with a rosary at 7pm at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
