Laura and I met and became friends in highschool. Our birthday's were just 4 days apart and we spent a few of them together. I have memories of our times shopping and sleepovers. I was happy to run into her at Mercy a few years ago and see how well she was doing as I have thought of her several times over the years. It's obvious that your sweet spirit left a light in this world. Thoughts and prayers to the Riggle family. RIP Laura.

I was blessed to meet Laura in 2007 when I started managing the Volunteer Department at MercyOne. She was always so willing to help out. Delivering flowers, weighing babies, answering phones, stuffing envelopes, organizing, delivering blankets, escorting visitors, secretarial duties, training new volunteers, and numerous other services. She was very deserving of the Service Award she received. Even after I left that role, I continued to see her, every Tuesday and Thursday, without fail. Even in a blizzard, Laura would still volunteer. Laura loved God, her family, and serving and it was obvious in how she lived her life. Her laughter and smile I will alway remember. My thoughts and prayers are with Laura's family.

I only knew Laura during the mid to late 70's when my dad was pastor at Grace. In that short time I learned what a kind and caring person she was. When I think of her I think of her smile and laughter. I was not at all surprised to see she continued to love and serve her Lord. The world was a kinder place because of her presence in it. I pray that the Riggle family will be comforted by wonderful memories and knowing she is in the presence of her Lord.

Laura was one of the faces that first greeted us at Grace Baptist Church when we moved here as a young family from Kansas. She was so involved with the church and knew everyone by name. Always pleasant and welcoming. I have fond memories of her helping me to learn names of the church family members. Such a special lady. I'm so happy thinking of her with her savior.

I remember Laura from her days as a secretary in nursing services and later as a volunteer at Mercy. She was always so pleasant, I never heard a cross word or complaint from her. She is in a better place but her sunny smile will be missed by many

When I was the volunteer coordinator at Mercy, I could always count on Laura to help out with a number of different volunteer requests from other Mercy departments. Laura was a wonderful caring person and always had a hug for me. May God be with you Laura.

Since 2nd grade, Laura was an unwavering true friend to me. My first and longest friendship. She was a bright light for the whole world to see. Now our world is a quite a bit sadder without her. I will always hold her friendship close in my heart, right next to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know she's singing His praises and catching up on all the things she missed out on here on earth: fragrant roses, cut green grass, a summer rain and chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven (to only name a few). My deepest and sincerest condolences go to her family at this time. She will truly be missed by many.

My cousin & sister in Christ, Laura was an excellent example of living for the Lord with a true servant's heart. She had a genuine heart of kindness and an infectious laugh. Loved greatly by many, especially Aunt MaDonna & Uncle Clyde. Praying for strength & comfort for all who knew & loved her.
