Nicholaus Nittler
August 30, 2020
Nicholaus Nittler passed away on August 30, 2020 doing what he loved most in life, riding his motorcycle. He was born on April 25, 1983 to Jack and Janet Nittler.
Nicholaus never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He loved riding his motorcycle and having a good time. Nicholaus loved anything that could go fast. He enjoyed playing darts, bags and pool. Nicholaus was an awesome father and enjoyed taking Cienna on motorcycle rides and riding bikes with Rilen. He was very close with his family and was always checking in to make sure they were okay and see if he could help with anything. He loved to make people laugh whether it be the occasional joke or riding around on his hoverboard with a mullet wig. He most recently worked at the Baker Group alongside his father. At the end of the day, he was happiest being with his family for dinner at his grandma GG’s house.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Tarra Zepeda; children, Cienna and Rilen Nittler; parents, Janet Nittler and Jack Nittler; siblings, Austin (Carrie Hill) Nittler, Brennan (Sierra) Nittler, and Maddison (Ramiro Gomez-Buentello) Nittler; paternal grandmother, Glennis Nittler; maternal grandfather, Jackson Fairley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Nicholaus was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Nittler; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Fairley; and aunt, Andrea Addington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St., Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

To my best friend and best man, it pains me to write this. This wasnt supposed to happen this soon, not now. My brother, Ill never forget all of the memories that we had together. The little things. Our lives will never be the same, but am grateful for all of the time that you were about of mine. I know you know that I love you, but I dont think you will ever know how much. I dont know when Ill be able to fully process it, but know that you will be forever missed. I love you Nin

We did not know Nicholaus, however, he has forever changed our lives. I want you to know how deeply sorry we are for this tragic loss. That evening continues to play over and over for us. We wish there was something more we could have done. We share our tears with you! I pray for your family. The gathering last night was a wonderful tribute to him and you can tell he was very much loved.

Youll never know how much this saddens me and breaks my heart to have to write this. Loved and cared for by so many. I think you yourself had no idea just how many. I will miss your smile, your story telling, and they way you could make me laugh. Most of all I will just miss you. Rest easy my friend.
