Nicholaus Nittler
August 30, 2020
Nicholaus Nittler passed away on August 30, 2020 doing what he loved most in life, riding his motorcycle. He was born on April 25, 1983 to Jack and Janet Nittler.
Nicholaus never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He loved riding his motorcycle and having a good time. Nicholaus loved anything that could go fast. He enjoyed playing darts, bags and pool. Nicholaus was an awesome father and enjoyed taking Cienna on motorcycle rides and riding bikes with Rilen. He was very close with his family and was always checking in to make sure they were okay and see if he could help with anything. He loved to make people laugh whether it be the occasional joke or riding around on his hoverboard with a mullet wig. He most recently worked at the Baker Group alongside his father. At the end of the day, he was happiest being with his family for dinner at his grandma GG’s house.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Tarra Zepeda; children, Cienna and Rilen Nittler; parents, Janet Nittler and Jack Nittler; siblings, Austin (Carrie Hill) Nittler, Brennan (Sierra) Nittler, and Maddison (Ramiro Gomez-Buentello) Nittler; paternal grandmother, Glennis Nittler; maternal grandfather, Jackson Fairley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Nicholaus was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Nittler; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Fairley; and aunt, Andrea Addington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St., Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Nick was always an inspiration to me, just pedeling around on two wheels or hanging out in general he is the perfect reminder for a person to remember to laugh, be goofy and enjoy life to its fullest because life as we are often reminded is way too short. Nick would always go out of his way to bring a smile to your face and give you that everlasting smirk and eye contact to make sure you were finding the humor in the moment as well. our condolences to the Nittler family during this time. Godspeed my friend you will be missed! -Kenny

My heart goes out to all of you. Nick was best friends with my nephew Dennis. He attended a few car shows with us and always made the best of any situation even if it was kids shirts on an adult body. May the awesome memories carry you thru the days ahead!!!
