Maxine Peterson

Maxine Lenore Peterson passed away peacefully with family by her side Friday, January 19, 2007 at CLC Care Center in Norwalk.
Maxine was born in Atlantic, Iowa on October 17, 1911. She married her high school sweetheart, Maurice “Red” Peterson on December 21, 1939. They enjoyed living and raising their family on Des Moines’ north side.
Maxine is preceded in death by her husband “Red”; sisters, Evelyn (Bob), Irene and brother, Hugh. Maxine is survived by two children, Sharon and Dennis (Roxie) Peterson; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January, 25 2007 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.
Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens has been entrusted with her care.
