Debbie Kline
August 25, 2020
Debbie Kline, 65, was born October 29, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa to Sammy and Jean Rich. She passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Hospital.
Debbie was a proud mom of four who never missed a game. She was the mom with snacks who knew every kids name on the team, and became best friends with the parents. Debbie had many longtime friends. We will always remember Debbie as the one who cheered us on, who helped us see the bright side, and genuinely loved us well...no matter what. Debbie was a fighter. Some call it stubbornness, but we like to call it determination. Debbie fought health challenges for more than two decades, but rarely let it slow her down. She was determined to be present and live life to its fullest with those she loved, and those she just met.
Her light is still so bright, and will continue to shine through her loving husband of 33 years, Joe; children, Samantha Jean Kline, Niki Anne Kline, Brian James (Devon) Kline, and Jeffrey Joseph (Tori) Kline; grandchildren, Taner, Tara, Jameson, Bowen, Wyatt, Trygg, Barrett, and Charley; siblings, Barry (Nancy) Cook and Cheri (Mike) Parton; and a host of other loving relatives and many special friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family respectfully asks guests to wear masks and practice social distancing. Debbie will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Debbie.

Blessings to all the Kline family, Debbie was one of kind, always positive and direct, truthful and kind, she will be missed by so many, this world has less value now that this wonderful lady is no longer being a part of it, she was beautiful, and heaven is even a better place now, I will never forget the chats we had, and the beautiful smile she always carried

Bro, she was the perfect wife for you and you gave your heart to her when she needed it. I only met her once for a period of time to get to know her, she will be greatly missed by many.

My deepest condolences to the Kline Family. Debbie was the light in many lives. And she definitely made an impact on mine. We enjoyed watching videos of people falling, I can still hear her laugh. We also both enjoyed Sons Of Anarchy, and every Tuesday when a new episode would be on, we would be messaging and gossiping back and forth about the show. We shared a love for Jax. Just friends who met through friends, she was more like family. She will forever be Aunt Debbie to me.

Joe, Brian, Niki, Jeff, Sammy and grandkids and family, Words cant express how sad to hear this heartbreaking news! I hope you find comfort knowing she has passed to a place where she will have no more pain. Debbie was a ray of sunshine, her smile is eternal, those dancing blue eyes, and her ornery laugh! I will miss her tons!! We have been friends for a very long time and I cherish every memory. It didnt matter how much time in between we always picked up right where we left off! Very very special lady! She loved her family to the very depth of her soul. We were all blessed to have her in our lives as long as we have. I know she is wrapping her arms around each one of you. She will always be in your heart let that give you some kind of peace! My deepest sympathy may God Bless and bring you comfort.
