Viola B. Studer

Viola B. Studer, 92, passed away August 25, 2020 at Taylor House Hospice.
Viola was born April 13, 1928 in Eagle Grove, Iowa to Alfred and Elizabeth (Fisher) Trausch. She was a devoted Christian and very dedicated to Christ the King Church. Viola lived through the Great Depression which shaped her adult life. All of her cooking was done from scratch and she worked well into her 80’s. She worked for the Wallace and Meredith families as a housekeeper and host of catering events.
She is survived by her children, Diane (David) Heiser, DeWayne Studer, James P. (Terry) Studer, Jon (Mary) Studer; grandchildren, David (Christina) Heiser, Jr., Douglas (Anne) Heiser, Casey (Shannon) Rush, Abby (Jeremy) Helm, Samantha (Matt) Fett, Jaryn (Adam) Tuttle, and Jorden (Sydney) Studer; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ella and Delaney Heiser, Kodie, Austin, and Avery Helm, Charlie and Hendrix Fett, and Hans Tuttle.
Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Ron; and siblings, Francis, Donald, Robert, Everett, Richard, Margaret, Ethel, Helen, Gladys and Elizabeth.
Private family services will be held. Viola will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Christ the King Catholic Church in loving memory of Viola.

We were sorry to hear of your moms passing. I had the opportunity to have lunch with Vi last year along with a group of ladies from Christ the King. She was much loved and much respected.
