Beautiful service... I have to smile because when Gwen retired she didn't want to learn the new DMPS Budget program called CIMS. It had LONG account numbers and she wasn't thrilled about it. She could type and she did use the computer but that program was making her happy to retire and hand it over to me. To think that technology joined us together years ago and now technology made it possible for me to be with Gwen and her Family today. Thank You for offering the virtual/live option. Thinking of the Family...

I was able to be fortunate enough to know Gwen and to work with her at Brody Middle School. She was a Wonderful Person and so kind to me and my mom (Shirley Fennell). When Gwen retired, she handed over her keys to me and it was a big job to take on. She opened Brody Middle School in 1968 and was the only secretary until she retired. I will never forget that day. She will always be in my memories and my heart. Thinking of you Rhoda. Please Take CARE. Sherri

I worked with Gwen for many years at Brody Middle School. Our faculty depended on her a lot for guidance. Her years of experience in DMPS helped us to navigate all the peculiarities that can crop up in a big district. And, she had a great sense of humor. It was always fun to chat with Gwen. She made our challenges doable and fun.
