Darrell Burch

Darrell J. Burch, 84, of Des Moines, passed away Friday, January 19th at Kavanagh House 56th Street. His memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2007 at Calvin Community, 4210 Hickman Road in the atrium.
Darrell was born January 26, 1922 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Rose and Clayton Burch. He graduated from North High School and served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during WW II. Darrell retired as manager of Olson Graphic Products. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Craftsmen Club, North High Alumni Association, and Urbandale American Legion.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Norma; three daughters, Judy (Ivan) Johnson, Wendy (Steve) Rech and Kim Welch; one son, Steven (Deb) Burch; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
He was loved by his wife, family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Calvin Community Good Samaritan Fund or Kavanagh House 56th Street.
