Tom Ludwig died peacefully January 20, 2007 surrounded by his loving family at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He was born August 26, 1944 to Irvin and Faye Ludwig in Sioux City.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30am at Zion Lutheran Church, 4300 Beaver Ave. where he was a member. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
Tom was a science teacher from the Des Moines Public Schools retiring after 36 years. He was at Hoover High School for 34 years of his teaching career.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda of Johnston. His son Matthew (Sally) Ludwig, Three grandchildren; Kathryn, Caroline and Thomas all of Lincoln, NE Tom also leaves a brother, Milton Ludwig of Lawton,IA and a sister, Shirley (Allen) Anderson of Sacramento, CA.
Memorial contributions can be made to Kathryn Ludwig Trust Fund, Zion Lutheran Church or Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
