Harold Glann, 63, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center.
A memorial visitation will be held at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009.
Harold was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 24, 1946 to Vivian and Dr. George Glann. He lived most of his adult life in Des Moines where he was a retired sergeant of the Des Moines Police Department. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Harold enjoyed watching football, fishing, and especially spending time with family.
Harold is survived by his children: Kari (Michael) Birmingham, Daniel (Sarah) Glann, Andrew (Abby) Glann; and nine grandchildren.
