Michael Rieman, 25, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, May 17, 2009. Michael was born on October 6, 1983 in San Jose, Costa Rica. He moved to Des Moines along with his parents, Paul and JoAnne Rieman and brothers in 1987. He attended Southeast Polk High School and was a graduate of DMACC.
Michael enjoyed helping around the house he shared with his mother, working on his automobile and fishing with his father.
Michael is survived by his Mother, JoAnne, Father Paul Rieman, brothers, Hansel (Tiffani) Rieman, Nelson Rieman, Grandmother, Maxine Ruble, a niece Olivia and nephew Arayu and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm Saturday May 23, 2009 at the Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Rock of Prevention, 7628 Hickman Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50322 in loving memory of Michael.
