Nancy Anderson, age 72, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Methodist Hospital. Nancy was born the daughter of Willis and Alice Fugett on August 8, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio.

Nancy taught Spanish at National Trail in Ohio for seven years. Once she moved to Des Moines, she taught Spanish at Des Moines Christian for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, as long as it was a “hard copy”. Nancy had a strong faith and was a member of Vineyard Church since 1994. She enjoyed being a part of her small group there at the church. She will be remembered most as a very gentle person who had a loving heart.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 31 years, Randolph Anderson; brothers: Bill Fugett and Donald (Beverly) Fugett; sister: Ruth (Byron) Johnson; and other loving relatives and many special friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has occurred and memorial services will be held soon at Vineyard Church – please check back for updates.
