Mom,
I am learning how to live
In a new way
Since that day
You were taken away.
I am learning how to live
With the things left unsaid
Knowing I got to say them
With every tear that I shed.
I am learning how to live
By embracing the pain
Knowing that you live on
Through the memories that remain.
I am learning how to live
Knowing I will never again see your face
And I have peace knowing
Youre in a better place.
I am learning how to live
Knowing youre in Gods care
It gives me the strength to move on
And makes the pain much easier to bear.

I have such fond memories of Terri. Her smile and her sense of humor gave the Main Office a feeling of family. If things were not quite right, we would give each other "the look", meaning that we had the same unspoken opinion! I also remember her hearty laugh.
I am saddened by her passing and send my thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. The picture that is posted captures her personality and truly exemplifies her zest for life.
God bless.

I still have Terri's "goodbye" letter that she gave me when she retired.
It's hanging in my office and was beautifully written with wonderful
metaphors. One of them being the new road she was going to follow upon
her retirement. Unfortunately, that road has reached its final destination.
I have super kind and dear memories when I hear the name "Terri White."
She always, always smiled when I saw her. She voluntarily made coffee
for me (and several of her other friends at Verdugo) although she was
not obliged to do so. I especially remember her serene countenance when
I visited her in the hospital while she was in an induced (?) coma. The
nurse let me visit her for a couple of minutes.
Sweet, sweet memories of a sweet, sweet colleague and friend. May you
cherish these and many more sweet memories of your own during these
difficult times.
