Patricia L. Hosman

Patricia “Patty” Hosman, 70, passed away on August 4, 2020, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She was born December 16, 1949, in Wenatchee, Washington.

Patty received her education in Fairfield, Iowa, and worked at Nationwide until retirement. She married Joseph Hosman in 1973 and they shared 42 wonderful years together until his passing in 2015. Patty was a member of Adventure-Life Church.

Patty enjoyed traveling, eating out at restaurants, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her children, David (Christina) Riedel and Jenny Hosman (Justin); grandchildren, Erin and Kory Kritenbrink, Amber Woolsey, and Alex Hosman, as well as other loving family and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Pearl Riedel; husband, Joseph; and grandson, Joseph Riedel.
