Norma Deeringer

Norma Jean Deeringer, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Carlisle Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lovilla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Norma was born December 17, 1925 in Lovilla to Winifred and Rollie Thompson. She worked as a Merchandizer at Kmart. Norma loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, and flower gardening. Norma was a member of Miller United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Tanya Wadstrom (Tom), Brad Deeringer, and Dee Deeringer-Cline (Chris); 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, Norma was preceded in death by her son, Jeff, her parents, and her brothers, Dusty, Scat and LeRoy Thompson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Miller United Methodist Church.
