Amanda Marie Kuebler
Of Des Moines, Iowa
Amanda Kuebler, age 35, was taken much too soon on Friday, July 31, 2020, due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. She was born on September 3, 1984 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Amanda worked at Petsakes Pet Supplies as the manager for the past 8 years and bartended on the weekends at CJ’s. She previously worked at Home Plate Diner and Prairie Meadows at the horse races. Amanda loved animals, motorcycles, being around people especially her grand baby who was her pride and joy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Thida Son; grandson, Antonio; father of her daughter, Kevin Son; mother, Rebecca Kuebler; father, Nam Van Bui; siblings, Bridgett Kuebler, Tynan Kuebler, Maggie Kuebler, Branda Bui, Jennifer Bui and Andrew Bui; nieces and nephews, Nahlia, Aiden, Tynan Jr., Ahna and Vinnie; grandfather, James Kuebler; uncle, David (Sue) Kuebler; cousins, Kyli, Cody and Jessica; and a host of extended family and friends.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Judy Kuebler; and son, Andrew Kuebler.
A private service will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Amanda.

While I was not particularly close to her, i would stop in petsakes every week or so. She would always immediately stop what she was doing, make you feel welcome, and put a smile on your face. My dog loved the crap out of her, and was often the highlight of our day to stop in. It's rare to find people so inviting, that you go out of your way to their store, even if you don't need to. In such a chaotic and unforgiving time it's extremely sad to lose such a kind soul. When my cousin passed away the only thing that gave me comfort was thinking "the brightest candles burn the fastest". My condolences to the family and her coworkers. The community will miss her. :(

We are so sorry to hear about Amanda she will be missed by so many of us and our pets she had a heart of gold and a smile to match it. Bailey girl as she called her will miss her playful times and special treats. RIP Amanda.

I was shocked & saddened when I heard that Amanda had passed. I looked forward to seeing her every time I visited Petsakes. Her presence was always such a ray of sunshine. Heart healing prayers to her family and work family. Shell be missed by all.

Since Awol was a puppy Amanda was his best friend spoiling him rotten and making him work for treats every time we visited Petsakes. We are so saddened to hear of her passing. Praying for peace for your family in the coming days.

We were absolutely shocked and heartbroken to learn of Amanda's very untimely death. She was very special and loved by so many. Petsakes just won't be the same without her beautiful smile. We had a special chat when she brought some dog food to our house, and I will always treasure those memories. I have written a poem in her memory for the family and will be sending a card with a memorial. Fly with the angels, Amanda and rest in peace!!

Words cant describe how we feel, u was truly an amazing friend, mom, sister, daughter, aunt, and gma. U was my best friend my sister, there's so many memories we have together growing up. Im so lost with without you. Love u gone but never forgotten till we meet again my friend!!
