Maxine Nash

Maxine Nash, 83, died Sunday, May 10, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Park Avenue Christian Church, SW 9th & Park. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa, IA.
Maxine was born February 6, 1926 in Given, IA to Earl and Laura Kentfield. She was a beautiful seamstress and cake decorator, was an animal lover and loved spending time with her family.
Maxine is survived by her sons, John (Rosa) Nash and Richard Nash; daughter, Cynthia (Rodney) Cory; sisters, Laura Mae Leslie, Shirley Kentfield and Phyllis Buchanan; ten grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; brother, Bill Kentfield; and grandsons, Jason Nash and Tyrone Cory.
