Service Details
Joshua Erickson, 20, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Berean Assembly of God Church, 5225 Maple Dr. in Pleasant Hill with burial at Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Joshua was born October 27, 1988 in Des Moines to Carl and Terri (Fisher) Erickson. He had worked as a groundskeeper at Toad Valley Golf Course. Joshua enjoyed golfing and wrestling and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Carl and Terri; sisters, Mary and Christina; grandparents, Willard and Alice Erickson and Diane Smith; uncles, Dave (Bev) Erickson and Rick (Joan) Erickson; aunts, Kathy (Pat) Bohlen, Winnie (Mike) Wright, Debbie Fisher, Sherri (Mike) Mitchell and Amy (Dave) Scott; and many cousins, extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Benjamin and grandfather Mike Fisher.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Joshua.

Carl, Teri & family:
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your son, Joshua. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time. Our son Jared is the same age as Josh and we can't imagine what you must be feeling. We do know the Lord has put His loving arms around you and will comfort you during your time of sorrow and He will give you peace. We will be thinking of you and praying for each of you in the days and weeks to come.

Terri, Carl and girls:
Words can not express the sorrow we feel, nor can words be offered to take away the pain you have with Josh's passing. He was a great guy and will be truely missed by all. No parent should ever have to go through this nor have to try to explain the reasons. Please be assured that Josh is peaceful and his passing has actually added months and/or years to many lives and your gift to them is appreciated by all. In loosely speaking for those who received Josh's special gift, thank you, thank you for being the wonderful parents you ARE.
