Service Details
Jeanne Clawson, 80, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at West Des Moines Christian Church. The service will be followed by visitation with the family.
Jeanne lived a very full life. She was a Registered Dietitian, played the organ for church from eighth grade on, participated in various organizations such as PEO, and loved spending time with friends and family.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Clawson; and her two daughters, Anne (Brian) Apland and Nancy (Joel) Nastruz; and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to West Des Moines Christian Church or Chapter GH, P.E.O.

Dear Bob, Anne & Nancy & families,
How sorry I am to learn of Jeanne's death. I did not know that she was ill. She was a joy to know and to work with. Because of her I got to know the rest of you. She was very proud of all of you. Cherish your wonderful memories of which I know you have many.
