Norma had a strong faith and visited with the Lord daily through devotion and prayer. She was a longtime member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene and loved serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Norma lived life to its fullest, she was very fun loving and had a great sense of humor. She will be remembered as an accomplished pianist, a fabulous cook, and for her enjoyment of thrift store shopping. She always put others first, had a multitude of friends, and will always hold the title of “favorite aunt”.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Norma. She was such a good friend to my mom Edna McCleeary (who passed away last October) for many years. Norma was such a fun loving person and will be missed dearly.

Norma was our neighbor for the last twenty-two years. We loved our visits. Norma and Rod were the best next door neighbors anyone could ever ask for. I am in tears this week. I am glad Norma is in heaven now with Rod. What will we do without you?

Norma was the type of person who loved everyone and in return was easy to love. She had a special spiritual gift of hospitality of making everyone feel at home or a part of the family. Her easy style and gentle spirit captivated your heart as she prepared a meal and served her guests with her sly sense of humor. She had a way of being the life of the party, yet sneaky enough to keep her friends wondering of what she might do next. As a talented pianist she always gave her best but never wanted to be in the spotlight. Her devotion to Christ and to the church was an example that gave hope to fellow strugglers. Her spirit of humility and her love for life will long be remembered by all who were touched by her sacrificial giving.
