Jennifer R. Luncsford
July 19, 2020
Jennifer Rene (Olson) Luncsford, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020, also at the funeral home, followed by burial at Berwick Cemetery.
Jennifer was born on April 20, 1973 in Des Moines, Iowa to Don Olson and Vickie Black. She was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend to many. She also loved her role as a dog mom - TJ, who was her world and protector. She had a vivacious personality and always made people laugh with her dry sense of humor. She was always there to give the honest advice that you probably did not want to hear but needed to. When she wasn't watching scary movies or listening to music, you could find her working in her garden or soaking up the sun by her pool in her backyard. Marissa described her best: beautiful, strong, smart, and wholeheartedly the kindest person in the world. She was Timmy’s Marilyn Monroe.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend, Timothy Luncsford, her resilient daughter, Marissa Mosqueda, son Jordan Eng, step-daughter, Breanna Buchman; parents, Don Olson and Vickie Black; sisters, Janell Pappas and Angela McCarty; brothers, Joshua Olson and Coleman Olson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her step-father, Mike McCarty; grandma, Marilyn Bash; aunt, Gaynell Jorgenson; and her dog, TJ.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Jennifer.
Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.
