Stefany Leinen-Black, 42, passed away July 16, 2020 at home.
Stefany was born February 8, 1978 in Des Moines, Iowa to Steven and Paula (Long) Leinen. She graduated from Norwalk High School as well as La James and Iowa School of Beauty. She was a dually licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician. She enjoyed roller skating and riding motorcycles but above all, loved spending time with her friends.
Stefany is survived by her mother, Paula; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steven.
Please join the family at the graveside service on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Cumming, IA.

Paula, I am very sad about this. Stefany was a wonderful friend. Not many people would drive to Brooklyn, Iowa from Des Moines to help a friend out when I lost my Car keys. She was a wonderful person to hang out with. We had a great time Rollerskating together. She even paid for my lunch as a Birthday day gift. That is a True friend. She will be missed. I will always have good memories of Stefany for the rest of my life.

I'm so sorry that Stef is gone so soon. During the roughest months of my life a few years ago, she was there to help me when nobody else would. I will appreciate and remember her kindness to me forever
