Alia Leyva-Brito

Alia Leyva-Brito was born March 24, 2020. She lived for 3 months and 17 days before leaving her heartbroken family on July 11, 2020.

Alia will be forever loved and missed by her mommy Keila Brito, her daddy Ricardo Leyva, and her brother, Kaiden. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Perla and Marco Leyva; maternal grandmother, Arnulfa Zacapala; maternal grandfather, Amancio Brito; aunt, Jennifer Brito (Oscar Martinez); uncles, Jorge Brito (Daisy), Victor Brito (Bosay), Luis Leyva, Marc Leyva; paternal great-grandmother, Maria Sotelo; maternal great-grandfather, Alfredo Zacapala; and many other loving family members and friends.

She is greeted in Heaven by her paternal great-grandfather, Marcos Castrejon and her maternal great-grandmother, Anna Rojas.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Family will greet guests one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oralabor Cemetery in Ankeny.
