Jackie White

Jackie White, 71, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2020. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on January 1, 1949, the daughter of Charles and Opal Bagley.

Jackie was a woman of strong faith and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She embraced all genres of music and enjoyed sharing her love of music. Jackie was known for sending her family and friends many songs to listen to. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Opal (Gillespie) Bagley; her husband, William E. White, Sr., and granddaughter-in-law, Karie White. She is survived by her children, Janie Kay (Charles) Bragg, Tammie Nanette White, and William Eddie White, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael White (fiancé, Cheyanne Kingery), Kaylee White, Rebecca (Rob) Shaffer, Nathan Hall, and Olivia White; great-grandchildren, Noah White, Gauge White, Autumn White, Amanda White, and Hudson Hall; her sister, Barbara Withers; special nephew, Carson Aldridge; as well as other loving family and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m.
