Denise Marie Simpson

Denise died peacefully at home on July 2, 2020. She was born January 6th, 1968 in Des Moines to Charles and Linda (Freeman) Simpson.

While attending Southeast Polk High School she met her lifelong partner and soulmate, Darrel E. Waterman, Jr. Denise and Darrel has two children together, Samantha and Skyler. She was loving mother, not only to her children but also to Darrel’s two daughters from a previous marriage, Amanda and Hannah. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren; Shyla, Sophia and Daisy Tilton.

Denise was a hard worker until an unfortunate incident disabled her. She loved to craft, spend time with her family and pets, go on adventures and loved motorcycle rides with Darrel.

She is preceded in death her by her grandparents, Charles and Zuellen Freeman; Aunt and Uncle, Charlotte and Ron Carey; stepmother, Missy Simpson; brother, Keith Simpson.

She is survived by her parents, Linda (Jerry) Bitting and Charles (Cindy) Simpson; brothers, Kelly Simpson, Kenny Simpson and Dennis DeBois; sister, Annie (Luis) DeBois Guereca and many special nieces and nephews.
