Jill Ranae Harris

Jill Ranae Harris, age 53, passed away on June 30, 2020, peacefully at her home.

Jill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She spent a lot of time caring for her grandchildren, which she loved most. Jill was born and grew up in Boone, Iowa and was a proud Boone High School Toreador. She greatly enjoyed listening to music, restoring antique furniture, and just being a grandma. Jill was the feisty spirit her family needed in their lives.

Jill is survived by her husband, Russell Harris; mother, Linda Sesker Reynolds; two daughters, Jessica Aeschilman (Rob) and Emilee Harris (Erik Puricelli); and her three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Lennon and Leon.

She was preceded in death by father, Bob; brother, Eric; and her favorite uncle, Don Sesker.

A Celebration of Jill’s Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a memorial contribution may direct it to Camp Hertko Hollow, 4200 University Ave., Suite 320, West Des Moines, IA 50266, in loving memory of Jill. Camp Hertko Hollow is a camp for children with diabetes in which Jill participated in as a child and continued to support through fund raising events throughout her life.
