Eugene H. "Gene" Lindgren

Eugene H. “Gene” Lindgren, 67, passed away on June 30, 2020. He was born October 18, 1952 in Des Moines to John and Marie (Rauterkes) Lindgren.

Gene graduated from North High School class of 1970. He went on to work various jobs including doing maintenance and snow removal for All Saints Catholic Church. In his free time, Gene loved doing crosswords and trivia.

He is survived by his brother, Gerry Lindgren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gilbert; and his parents.

No formal services are to be held at this time.

To Gerry and family: I was very sad to hear of Gene's passing. I grew up on 3rd Street and remember Gene as quiet, shy and a music fan. I saw him frequently at church and at the bowling alley. I know you are sad, but find comfort in knowing that Gene is joyfully reunited with his loved ones in Heaven. Please remember the good times and happy memories with Gene and he will live on in your hearts forever. Take care and God Bless.
