Even after 3 weeks I still find it difficult to accept your gone. We have been close friends since we met some 12 years ago.
I knew as you did we had a lot in common. From collecting knifes and liking 2 of the worst NY teams out there. When you told me family doesn't have to call ahead and your door was always open for me.
And of all the friends you had and even though I was from NY you told everyone I was the most honest person he had ever know. I knew you were my big brother. We all speak about the day we die. But I felt like you had made a deal with the man above. Because you where one tuff SOB.
I will miss you and the special times we had darts Wii and pool. I know you said you would give me a sign and I have received it. Be good my lost brother.

I didn't know Richard a long time but from what I knew He was one of the last of the "real men". He was a great cook and had a great sense of humor. You will be missed........

What can a person say I have known Richard 50 years, he was more than a friend more like a brother. The friends that knew Richard will always remember him as having a big heart would help anybody down on their luck if you went to Richard's in a pissy mood you didn't feel the same way when you left he always had jokes some of them not so funny , he would look at me and say nevermind you're a blond you don't get it I used to call him every name in the book he we just laugh. I will miss him everyday and wonder what is Richard and Judy doing up there we all know causing trouble, and laughing at us down here we know you're happy now Richard hanging with Judy, rest in peace my friend love you.

I am glad I have had the pleasure of knowing you "Richie". I will always remember the kind and generous heart that you had. Always helping others myself included. You were one of the very rare genuine people left in the world. And one of the luckiest people I know at Prairie Meadows.. Ha!
I will miss you forever, my bestest block buddy.. Give Fatcat a big hug for me.. Peace out brother!!

Richard I'm finding this so hard to understand. I wish I could have been there for you. You were so hard headed. I always thought of you as my big brother, but your sister Judy is waiting for you. You two were inseparable. And that makes me feel like 2 angels have come togher.
Making me feel serenity for the both of you. Love you...,
