I had the honor of working with Dave for the past 15 years at CPA, and he has always been a very genuine person! His smile, his laugh, and his love for music especially LIVE bands will always be remembered. I would run in to Dave from time to time while I was out performing with my Drumline and he always stopped by to tell me how awesome they sounded. I'll remember the 2 Daves deep frying turkeys every year for the Des Moines office and all of the work he put in to making it a special day for all of us. It's true that you may not remember every word that a person says to you, but you'll always remember how they make you feel, and Dave made me feel like a friend every time we spoke. I will miss you Dave, and my condolences to you Vicki and to your boys! I'm sure he's sitting in heaven listening to Miles Davis perform right now and saying, "Wow..can that guy play!" Love you all and may God bless you and comfort you in your time of loss.

Dear Vicki, Shirley and family,
My original note was written on 7/3--apparently it was not sent properly. I was shocked and so very saddened to read about Dave's passing in the SVE email. I enjoyed meeting you during the purchase of my home--excited to know such friendly, happy, "young" owners were moving in! May God surround you with His strength and love bringing you peace, comfort and hope today and always. My prayers and love,
,Connie

Vicki and Family,
I have been putting this off, the sending of condolences, thinking that I need to use the perfect words to express our sorrow for Dave's passing. And then, I realize that there are NO words that will make the pain go away, that will make it easier to accept. Just know that he was treasured by many, and that your faith and friendships will help carry your burden of grief.
God is with you always,
Becky and Randy Bamsey
