Kenneth “Gator” Mumma, passed away on June 17, 2020. He was born in Okinawa, Japan on March 3, 1958 to Virginia and Kenneth Mumma, Sr.
Kenneth was from Tampa, Florida and has lived in Des Moines for the last 33 years. He worked for Graziano Brothers when he first came to Des Moines and later as a taxi cab driver. Ken enjoyed cooking and was always up on the latest news. He loved sports, especially the Florida Gators, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Cubs. Kenneth will be greatly missed!
He is survived by his daughter, Esperanza Mumma; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Keith Campbell; and many friends.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Kenny was a wonderful man. I always loved when he came home to Tampa. It was always Thanksgiving a very special time for he and his sister. May you Rest In Peace! We love you!

Essse, I know how hard it is in this year especially to lose a loved one. Please just take each day moment to moment then you can go minute to minute. Dont let anyone tell you the length your grief should last, it is different for everyone, but your father will always be in your heart and your memories are precious.
