Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marion Pol; and uncle, Craig Vander Wert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm.

I still cannot believe you are gone Dylan. I had the privilege of meeting you during Christmas of 2018 and you took me from a place of sorrow and gave me a consistent thought of a great life ahead. You Were and are a angel I truly believe that you brought joy and love wherever you went. With such a kind soul I have to believe you are with that sunshine above you often talked about. I will never forget you I hope you rest peacefully and never forget how loved you are. My condolences to your family and friends you will be missed forever and always.

I met Dylan before he was even a teenager and we used to joke with him and say we were going to marry him when we all got older. He was just an amazing soul with the biggest heart. We just recently connected again and we were supposed to meet a couple weeks ago for coffee. Ill never get to see those eyes smile again. I will miss you immensely Dylan!! Prayers and condolences to his family.

My heart goes out to the family of this young man. I do not know Dylan and had never met him or his family. But my heart aches for them now and in the difficult days ahead. I just happen to run across his obituary and thought I would let the family know that even strangers feel for them in this time of sorrow.
