Maurice Webb, Jr, 66, passed away on June 4, 2020, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born in Marshall, Missouri on March 9, 1954, to Maurice, Sr. and Ruby Webb.
Maurice graduated from Saydel High School in 1973 and worked for Beller Distributing in Grimes until his retirement. He was married to Debbie for 44 years. Maurice was a backyard mechanic, loved watching the Donahue’s racing, and his 1967 Ford Mustang.
Maurice is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Tammy Webb (Ron), son, Maurice III (Amanda)Webb, daughter, April Nelson; sister, Lee Smith; grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan), Ariesa (OJ) Alysa (James), Maurice IV, Jordyne, Chelsea, Mason, Ryan, Jordan, Jace and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Destiny, Bryan III, and Brody; many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ray Pettis.
The family will receive visitors from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a 3:00 p.m., memorial service on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Maurice.

Debbie my heart goes out to you and the family. You two have always been one of my favorite couples. I am lucky enough to have so many great memories of all the time we spent together in our younger years, and I will cherish those memories! My heart breaks for you and the family. I love you all!
