Debora Stock, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Mercy Hospital. She was born the daughter of Lowell and Jean Gibson on February 10, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Debora loved sharing Jesus with all of those who were blessed to have known her. She enjoyed volunteering at her church and was extremely involved with many activities and groups they held. Debora was very selfless throughout her life, she and Doug opened their homes and hearts throughout their entire lives to so many people from all walks of life in an effort to gift them unconditional love and support in knowing someone loved them and believed in them. She was so beautiful inside and out with a compassionate soul who always had such a special way with kids. Debora will be remembered most for her generosity and loving heart. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 30 years, Doug Stock; daughter, Elena Stock; siblings, Marlene (Jerome) Myers, Linda (Maynard) Mohn and Donald (Jan) Gibson; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.

Debora was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2020 at East Side Church of the Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th St., Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 6th also, at the church, followed by burial at Restland Cemetery, Baxter.
