Patricia "Pat" Robbins

Patricia “Pat” A. Robbins, 87, passed away on May 31, 2020 at her home.

Pat was born April 15, 1933 to LeRoy and Vida (Zuck) Givler. She married Howard Robbins November 20, 1953. Pat enjoyed being outside and experiencing nature’s beauty. She was a talented gardener and was content to sit on her deck and watch the birds. Pat was devoted to her family and her church. She was a charter member of Wakonda Christian Church.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Howard; daughter, Diane (David) Laake; grandchildren, Jessica (Christopher) Simons and Stacy Laake; great-grandchildren, Hadley and Brooks Simons; siblings, Norman (Helen) Givler, Duane (Helen) Givler, Sharon Bohnenkamper and Richard (Barbara) Givler.

She was preceded in death by her son, David.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. If guests are not able to attend the service in person, the family invites friends to join them virtually for Pat’s service through the ZOOM link in her obituary below. There is no password and participants will be muted upon entry.
