Victoria Jean Gutierrez, 57, died at her home on Sunday, May 24, 2020. She was born September 19, 1962 to Richard and Maria (Vasquez) Cortez in Des Moines.
Victoria graduated from Des Moines Technical High School and worked at various places in Des Moines. She loved living life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her little dog named Chico. One of her favorite things to do was go shopping.
Victoria is survived by her daughters, Cassandra and Felicia Cortez; parents, Richard and Maria (Vasquez) Cortez; sisters, Tammy (Steve) Greene and Elisa (Jose) Marentes Gonzales; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
No services are planned at this time. The family will celebrate and memorialize her life and influence over the coming months.
