Pamela Sue Routson
May 21, 2020
Pamela Sue Routson was born August 8, 1961, in Des Moines, the daughter of Janet Hainline and Chuck Routson. She passed away May 21, 2020, at the age of 58.
Pamela was a dedicated mother and grandmother, first and foremost. These were the biggest treasures in her life and spent most of her time with them. She enjoyed collecting cookie jars and unicorns. She was a Minnesota Vikings fan, but her boys would argue, Denver Bronco’s & Kansas City Chiefs. Pamela had a selfless personality and wasn’t afraid of anything and was as fierce as they come, especially when it came to her family. She loved the simple things in life and never asked for too much. She cherished her family and friends more than anything else. These were the things that brought the most joy to her life and she will be missed dearly by many extended friends she considered family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Routson and brother, William Barnes (Bill) both of Des Moines, Iowa.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Hainline, of Branson Missouri; her beloved children, Ian (Shawna) Fischer and Donny (Breanna) Rodriguez; sisters, Patti Poland and Trish Taylor of Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, Bob Barnes of Des Moines Iowa and Chuck Routson of Ogden Utah; and her grandkids, Cameron Rodriguez and Kaleb and Kayden Fischer of Des Moines, Iowa.
Family and friends will gather at a later date, when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, to celebrate Pamela’s life.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Pamela.
