Charlene Cline

Charlene Cline, 68, passed away at her home May 7, 2020.

Charlene was born September 23, 1951 in Des Moines to John and Mary Calder. She attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in her younger years. Charlene received her Legal Assistant degree from DMACC and worked for Simpson, Jensen, Abels, Fischer & Bouslog, P.C. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and horseback riding. She loved going to the Iowa State Fair and on cruises with her husband William.

Charlene is survived by her husband, William Cline; daughter, Andrea Knisley; stepchildren, Chris (Sherry) Cline; Missy Cline, Michelle (Russ) Channon and Erin Cline; grandchildren, Kylie, Kaitlynn, Taylor, Hunter, DJ, Daja, Lejlah, Kensie, Tobie and RJ; the Bonanno, Tiano, Torchi, Calder, and Catizone families; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. We kindly ask you to be mindful of your time greeting the family as we must work within the current Covid-19 restrictions.
