Ronald "Ronny" Lee Griffin II

Ronald “Ronny” Griffin II, 55, passed away May 6, 2020 at MercyOne Medical Center.

Ronny was born August 27, 1964 in Des Moines to Ronald L. and Karole Griffin. He served in the US Army. Ronny was a truck driver for United Van Lines. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Ronny was an excellent cook and an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. He also enjoyed shopping at Goodwill and finding great deals.

Ronny is survived by his wife of nearly 21 years, Diana Griffin; parents, Ron and Karole Griffin; children, Ryan Rinehart, Ross (Nikki) Rinehart, Matthew (and family) Rinehart and Jessica Rinehart; grandchildren, Rumor Lynn Rinehart, Koy Patrick Rinehart and Dawn Danielle Rinehart; sister, Melissa Laurie; brother, Brent Griffin; aunt, Mary Colwell; uncle, Skip Simpson; parents-in-law, Arie and Wilma Pack; sisters-in-law, Susie (Chris) Niffenegger and Lisa (Mark) Tesdall; three nieces, Jessica, Jennifer and Jayme Laurie; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other loving family members.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
