Ellie Jo Sowden

Ellie Jo Sowden became an angel of Heaven on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Ellie was born the daughter of Alexandra Sowden on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. She loved holding on to fingers, poking her tongue out, snuggling with her mommy and lying on her belly. Ellie was a beautiful little girl who brought so much joy and happiness to her family’s life. Even though her time on this earth was brief, she made big imprints on the hearts of many.

Ellie is deeply loved by her mommy; her big sisters, Amira and Amelia Sowden; grandma, Melissa Denham; grandpa, Paul Sowden; and many extended family members.

Ellie will be greeted in heaven by her twin sisters, Ellianna and Everleigh.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2020 also at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family in Ellie’s memory.
