James enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to country music, going for car rides, eating sweets, talking about the motorcycles he used to ride including his 1st 1946 Indian Chief motorcycle and other motorcycles. He was able to have one more ride in a side car of a Harley Davidson in August of 2019.
In younger years he liked to go fishing and take the boat out, work on cars and of course ride his motorcycle. He liked to grow roses and his favorite color was purple.
James is survived by his children, Gloria Campfield, James (Glenda) LeMar, Jr., and Marsha Clark; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Daisy; son, Doug LeMar; and grandson, Troy LeMar.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jim, your White Horse finally stopped. I loved visiting, holiday dinners, driving around learning the history of places you grew up.

When We stopped into see my Mom (before Covid-19) we would often see James. My husband is a pastor and would share a message the 5th Sunday of the month.
One particular week Marv said, James, do you know JESUS loves you? James was very quiet and looked at my husband extremely thoughtful, Well James he does. James continued to look intently at my husband.
He attended a few of those services.
Hugs to all of you who lived James.

Dad, I will miss our Sunday phone calls. Glenda and I had a great time the last time we saw you and Marsha. I am glad we made it back for your last fathers day. Going to the Iowa State Fair 2018 for the 1st time with you and Marsha was great.
