Service Details

London Olivia Chiles was born on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 at 4:21 pm to parents Eric and Jessica Chiles at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. She weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. London was born with the most beautiful head of dark hair and brought with her a stunning rainbow. London's parents were blessed with six glorious days with her. During her time on earth, London was showered with love. She is affectionately referred to as Londy Loo, Loo Loo, and Baby Londy; but to her parents will always simply be Beauty. On April 29th, 2020 London's heart stopped beating and she was taken to Blank Children's hospital. Despite every attempt to save her, London was not able to breathe again on her own. Eric and Jessica are eternally grateful for the first responders that were able to give them those precious final hours with London. In those hours she was able to hear from her grandparents, siblings, aunts, and uncles. Mommy and Daddy talked with her endlessly, held her hands, rubbed her beautiful hair, sang her songs, held her, and prayed with her. London was baptized at 2:00 in the morning on April 30th. She was called home to be with the Lord at 3:10 pm in the arms of her Mom and Dad.

London is preceded in death by Maternal Great Grandparents; Vera and TL Tillotson, Elizabeth and Don Fillman and Wayne and Nancy Essink. Paternal Great Grandparents; Treva and Willis Stanford and Anita and Vernon Chiles. Great Uncle Steve Stanford and Great Aunt Carolyn Beck.
