Joan Stevenson

Joan Irene Stevenson, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Courtyard Estates in Bondurant.

Joan was born June 19, 1931 in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa to David and Sylvia Eyer. She married James Allen Stevenson in February of 1952. She worked for 25 years as a Ward Clerk for Des Moines General Hospital and was a member of Grace Baptist Church on County Line Road in Des Moines.

Joan is survived by her son, John (Ronie) Stevenson, daughter-in-law, Barb Stevenson, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Sylvia Eyer, husband, Jim Stevenson, son, Mike and daughter, Cathy.
